When you say you've been to North Korea twice, do you mean Pyongyang and such?

Did you happen to go with Koryo Tours? I was considering them.

It's interesting that the US Government makes such a big deal about it that you have to cover it up. Hopefully with the progress being made in the six party talks, the US and NK will normalize relations between the two countries.

My wife is Korean and her father was born in Kaesong. I have become very curious about NK and what is happening there.

Good information thought to have just in case we decide to go someday.

Rockwell: I didn't go on the Koryo tour...from what I've read they're the only ones who do NK tours. I had a chance to work with a humanitarian aid group that was going into the North, so I jumped at it. We flew into Pyongyang, then traveled by car to Kaesong and Sariwon. If I hadn't been before, I'd definitely try to hook up with a tour.

I am entertaining the idea of doing the Koryo Tour in August for Americans.
