Looking to pay about 400,000 max. Any more than this and I can buy new and get the warranty; they're getting really cheap these days.

Age of the laptop is less important than it's size ( I want small) and age of the battery. (recent or show me where I can buy new.)

If it's older than 3 years I'll give you somewhere less than 100,000 for it, unless you can make a good case otherwise. (ie good condition, spaning new battery etc.)

Edited to add: If you have any newer. more expensive notebooks let me know. I may not be able to get it right now, but maybe in a month or two.

I know you're just being specific about what you want, but you come off as kind of rude:

I want a laptop, so sell me your laptop at MY price, or I just won't buy your laptop.

It sort of sounds funny, when you think about it.

I can respect what you are thinking, though. Sometimes, people ask for way too much on here. I suggest you also try searching www.koreaherald.com in the Bulletin Board/Items for sale area. Or just buy new. If you're in Korea, and you want lowest price, look at the Hasee brand. I see a new one for 503,000 won. It's only a Celeron 1.6 with a 40 gig HD, but for surfing, email, letters, and general stuff, it's just fine -- if you up the 256 of ram (far too low).

Kohjinsha is also a good cheap brand. They now have a 7" convertible notebook/tablet for under 700,000 won. It weighs less than 1 kg, but the processor is basic bones: AMD 500.

MSI also has a very cheap 12.1" model going for 490,000 won. It has a sempron 3100+ chip inside. 40 gig HD, and weighs under 2 kgs.

Yes I don't mean to be rude but I don't want to waste my time or anybody elses either. Sorry bout that Embarassed

I'm actually rather flexible as long as the price is right. But if I can get a new one so cheaply then I'll check it out, thanks for that.

The thing with used laptops for me is the battery. I can happily put a P2 to good use, if it had a decent battery. Buying a new battery for an old laptop is either impossible or can put me over the price for a new one. Confused

Thanks for the brand info. I will go and check it out! The tablet one may be right up my alley.

Go to www.enuri.com , and www.danawa.com , and check prices on budget models. If your Korean is limited, then cut and paste these brand names:

하이얼
Anynote
Hasee
고진샤코리아

There are certainly more worth looking at, if you can do a search by price. This will give you an idea of what Yongsan prices will be like.

That tablet is the 고진샤코리아 model with the 7" screen. Danawa seems to have it with an 800mhz AMD Geode processor. Enuri lists theirs as having a 500mhz processor.

Oh, wait... same processor. The number is just 800 (but speed is actually 500mhz).
