One thing the Badger nation deserves is respect. We are respectful on the court and off, and deserving of a number 1 ranking this week. As*holes we are not. Another thing... when was the last time we were up here? Ah, right. Never. We're up in the clouds, and we forgot our coats. We're from the frozen f*cking tundra, and we forgot our damn coats. It's cold as hell now, but damn, it felt good on the way up.

Those on Tobacco Road have mutual respect for each other. Those involved in OSU/Michigan have mutual hatred. I think it's just the nature of football vs. the nature of basketball at play here. Dukies can't deny the success of UNC over the years, or vice-versa. Try to get a positive word out of a diehard Blue fan about the Buckeyes. Try.

We COULD wait and see or... we COULD put our money where our mouths are.

You wanna bet? ACC = at least 8

That's why analysts from all over the nation have been saying that the Pac-10 is the best conference in the nation. The most depth, as well as playing each other very hard. At least 6 will come out of the Pac-10, possibly 7. The ACC will be lucky to get 4.

The Badgers are going to be very, very good for years to come. I guarantee it. Bo Ryan, their coach, is one of the greatest coaches of this generation and he has many good years ahead of him. I lived down the road from the UW-Platteville when he utterly DOMINATED division III basketball in the 80's and 90's. He won 4 national championships and had more wins than Duke had over the same period of time.

Analysts from all over the country?!?!? Where? Name one. Seriously. Name one.

I wake up every morning and hit my college basketball websites from all over the country, and none of them say that. You've got bad information, or you just made it up.

ACC will be lucky to get four? Rolling Eyes Even Joe Lunardi predicts at least 6 (Which changed because Georgia Tech lost), and he's the premier "bracketologist" in the country. Check the RPIs if you want to know the best conferences.

1. SEC
2. ACC
3. PAC-10
4. BIG TEN
5. BIG EAST

Hell, the PAC-10 only has three teams in the top thirty of the RPI, while the ACC has 6.

So show me where analysts all over the country are saying that the PAC-10 is the best.

Oh, you must mean Korea, right? Analysts all over Korea are saying that? Or just the one sitting in front of your computer.....

You want me to make some sort of bet with some guy I have never met or even spoken too on a message board in South Korea over a basketball game? Your passion is commendable.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we. Wink

That's what I was referring to.

Oh, and for those of you who can't get TVU Player to work, go to http://www.viidoo.com/en/index.php (I can only get it to work in Internet Explorer) and install the active-x controls it should ask you about. Then input channel 50082 and click play. This only shows ESPN most of the time, not all. It's some New England sports channel, sometimes it's Fox Sports NE. I don't know when it is ESPN, so just hope it's on the right channel for the game, I guess. It's good for a Sportscenter fix now and then (every day), too.

9 out of 12 teams with 20+ wins!?!?!

I think it should be at least 8. It's gonna be bad for other conferences in the tourney this year...

The ACC has never has a team with 20 or more wins not make the NCAA tournament. Never.

OSU-UW for the title tomorrow 4AM our time on CBS if you have tvu.

Winner gets a 1 seed, loser a 2

not sure about Ill or Purdue getting in. If Ill gets in then you need to put Xavier in, they beat Ill

Anybody see the MAC final? Miami (OH) won with a disputed 3 pointer at the buzzer

Big Ten teams 4-0 so far. Not sure how Illinois or Purdue will fare later today. Da Badgers (my team) need to get their game going a bit earlier if they want to avoid an early exit. Dodged a bullet today falling 18 points behind early but showed poise late in the game as they turned it around. Nice to see that Brian Butch may have an opportunity to return to help the cause.

Was thinking about starting a tourney trash-talking thread, what do you all think? Duke and ND are fair game.......

Ill is up 12 against Va Tech late in the second half (switching between that one and the Texas game) and Purdue is up 9 vs Arizona with 13 min left

Wisconsin got very lucky today though vs A&MCC
