It's funny how many people come here and don't quite realise what they're getting into. A year is a pretty long time to be here, and this place is not like back home. Some people don't belong here, but they won't know until they try. On behalf of this guy, oops.

You would have think
someone was sent to Angola in the middle of a war zone, with all due respect to the people from Angola. This kid really needs a grip. He is blaming you for not doing his own homework. How were you supposed to know he would be acting like a babbo, and then blame his mammaluke behaviour on you. He gives us foreigners a bad rep. Korea isn't that bad!

That should read, "You would have thoughten".

you're sharing an apartment and working extra hours without getting paid?!

dude:
1) get a better contract for yourself, or actually read the one you have
2) be thankful for the fact that not everyone can move to korea and teach english, keeping salaries high for those who can, i.e. you and i

Yeah, we share appartments at our school, but it's pretty nice ... it's new, no weird smells or mold, and we've never really had problems with it. the old teacher is still living here, but we got along fine, living here before was great... but yeah,I haven't covered any of his classes, as he's still here... but he's starting to calm down a bit and getting used to us and Korea. But i still have low expectations just because he's a dumb@ss! haha Twisted Evil
