if you're having pain moving your arm..then get thee to a doctor.

fractures cause a lot of pain for such a small thing. I fractured my knuckle once, and could harbly move my entire arm. It took a couple of weeks in a splint/cast to get it perfect again.

Umm...how did it happen?

I wandered around on a busted ankle for two weeks once. Doctor was a little surprised when they finally x-rayed it. Not a bad break, just rim of the capsule came off. Metacarpals, if they're reduced, no problem. Fingers hurt more than metas. Cracked my head and broke a rib getting speared by my sprint bar in a bike crash last summer. After two weeks o little eating, puking, not walking straight, and occasional loss of vision in one eye, I decided it wasn't a concussion. Nothing they could do for it though. I didn't have any health insurance, and no idea what it would have cost...
Arm? If everything is in place, and you can avoid using it for a few weeks, you should be good. But like the other poster said, medical (as I have since discovered) is pretty cheap here. An x-ray might run you fifteen bucks).
Yeah, so...how?

If you thought you had fractured a bone, say your upper forearm near the elbow, could you get by OK without any medical attention? Can it heal on its own without any long-term damage?

If you do get it in a sling, do you REALLY want every student, teacher and family mart person coming up to you and saying, "Ohhh, why?" "Soju? hahaha!"

That's funny. When I broke my nose they all did that, but the sad reality is that it actually was from too much soju...and an unexpected curb.

Roll call for casts and broken bones?

I've had both my arms and both my legs in casts.... all at different times in my life.
from baby, infancy, all the way up to gr.4

You CAN wait a few days with a broken bone. But I would advice against going as soon as possible. When I broke my arm in gr. 4. I rebroke the thing when my arm was in the cast (fucking jerk bus driver!!!). I went to the doctor 2 weeks later and boy oh boy he REALLY REALLY had to reaf on my arm to get the bones back into place.... A barrel chested man huffing and puffing while squeezing my arm to get the bones back into place; it was a sight.

I ALMOST had to go into surgery to get it done properly (cause the bones had partially healed incorrectly).

So while you don't HAVE TO go, I would go
