Only 38 million??? Does that include the inventory at the 40 million cell phone stores/kiosks?

Seriously, every 90 year old halmoni in my rural area seems to have a cell phone. It still amazes me. My grandmother nor any of her friends back home would even think about having a cellphone.

38 million cell phones among population of 48 million, every korean own their own cell phone except probably very young age kids.

I don't think they count inventory.

Wow. I was feeling a little down on Korea today, but this thread really opened my eyes. It's a truly great country, full of truly great people. I'm so lucky to be here.
