Hi,
I am looking to be teaching in South Korea in a few months. I've read that for work visas to be issued a degree certificate must be shown. It's been several years since my undergraduate study and i have no idea where my degree certificate is, however i do have copies of my Post Graduate Diploma Certificate as well as My MA Certificate. Would this be sufficient for the issue of a work visa?

No, they would not be sufficient.

Iimmigration requires your Bachelors degree and SEALED university transcripts.

Since you have to contact your uni for the transcripts you might as well get a replacement degree certificate at the same time.

If you are unable to get a replacement certificate your options are:
a) find the old one.
b) choose another country to work in.

What he said. If you are a Brit you might have some trouble getting a new degree cert because my uni only gives out on certificate and if you lose that they will only give you a letter confirming you when you graduated etc.
However, if you are North American, you shouldn't have a problem.
