So I have noticed it is very different approaching K-girls then it is approaching Western girls. K-girls are always worried about 'face' and I was told to never say "no".
Anyone got some tips/hints/suggestions...... |

Bang on. Saying 'no' will cause them to lose face and you to lose any chance you may have had. Avoid at all costs!
The second most important piece of advice I can think of off the top of my head is this: K-girls love to be complimented on their ears. Don't ask me why, but this is what my K-friend told me and it's true! Sounds crazy, I know, but trust me on this one.
Good luck! |

Thank you for some REAL advice.
Ok, so compliment them on their ears, check.
I dont really understand this whole face thing just yet. Also I was told dont ask direct questions, cause that can cause them to lose face too. Like asking for her number, cause even if she wants to give it, if she does then she looks like a *beep*...it seems this whole culture does everything in a round-about way.... |

Are this tips from Lonely Planet ?
And never say "no" - what are you talking about? |

Generally, almost all K-girls will give you their number almost as easily as they'll give you their name or the time of day. However, it doesn't mean the same as it could do in Western societies. |

Ya I was told phone numbers are not a bid deal either....
I was told I lose face to them if i say no. I dont know, I'm just going by what people I've run into who have been here longer then me say. |

Yes. Giving number is normal and has no meaning whatsoever. White girls in Korea are so strange - since I am used to interacting with K-girls asking for number is normal and white girls always create a face like "oh he is asking me for my digits". God, please.....
But, yeah as butlerian said, number has no meaning like it does in the west.
Sometimes it will work to make a second date and sometimes you will just exchange a few texts and be ignored later on. Depends. Soju is better than asking for #s. |

Wow, the claws are really out, aren't they princess.
You've probably heard of this before, Darkness. Western ladies can get so jealous. For the true K-girlholic it's best not to worry about it though. |
