They remind me less of CSNY and more of the wilco/jayhawks/Gin Blossoms with some harmonies (that to me, don't sound much like CSNY).
It's funny, but I'm a MUCH bigger fan of Ray LaMontagne..

<admittedly not wholey acoustic...>
or iron and wine.

Maybe you can order their disc online? I'm still in the States and grabbed my copy here.
I dig Iron and Wine. I'll listen to the other group when I've got a little time!
If anyone else knows of any great music of this kind, post it! It's hard to find good music. |

As the Crow Flies is an Alberta / Kootenays - based folk band that's generating a lot of buzz. Be careful when looking for their music, because there's at least one other band out there with the same name.
Their acapella song "Salmon Hymn" is fantastic, and purportedly a real show-stopper when performed live.

Nice...that's exactly what I like, as the crow flies.
And Ray's got a nice touch. I love discovering great new artists like this.
Here's another great, Greg Brown:

as the crow flies - very nice; a great find.
Greg Brown, that lucky dog, is married to Iris DeMent:

No music samples there, but search her out; well worth it. |
