I have an extreme fear of Dentists to the point of having had IV sedation at home when I have had to go. Well, I have to go here, does anybody know of a very kind dentist that deals with people with extreme anxiety and that can offer some kind of drug to get me through the whole ordeal or a dentist that use pain free treatments. Thanks. |

The best dentist I've ever been to in my entire middle-aged life as far as painlessness goes is in the Seoul Finance Centre building down in Gwanghwamun. It's the Ye Dental Clinic and he's Dr Choi. One receptionist is dedicated to English speaking patients and her name is Eun Hee Ryu (02 318 3601)
Seriously, this guy is amazing. I had two crowns done involving multiple visits , hours in the chair and a number of injections on each visit. I didn't even feel the injections he is that good. Bit pricey though but then again, I'd pay for pain relief.
When you get there, they give you a form to fill in with your details. Make sure you tick the box about being anal about pain - that'll sort you out!
I'm going on Friday for a checkup actually... |

I had 2 complicated crowns & root canal work at a good dentist in Ilsan (near La Festa) in December. 700k won. If you can't find anything closer in Seoul, let me know by pm & I'll send you the contact details. If you do require a needle, just tell yourself it's no worse than a mosquito bite. Works for me. |
