Here is a program I found in my old state:

http://www.clarion.edu/edu%2Dhumn/graduatecertification/

You only need to be in the states for one college semester. Assuming you have enough credits in your field, plus two math and two English courses, you take six online classes and then do your student teaching.

Being a state school, its relatively cheap and fast: as little as 12 months and there is a two year program.

If you are American you can do the weekend Masters in Ed program on Yongsan. It is only a year long and you do your student teaching on the base schools.

It's through University of Phoenix.

I checked that out, and they are listed as part of the correct accreditation group (legit).

The big bummer for me is that I didn't take two uni-level math courses.

What the hell is up wth that requirement?

they are the easiest kids you'll ever teach.

there is no talking back, there is no attitude. There are no fights.
and if they try it, you know what you say?
"I'm gonna call your father?" Nope

"I'm gonna call his C.O."
That job is soooo cake, federal benefits, some of the highest teaching wages out there, and if you do it here they pay for your housing too. Along with 1 free trip back to the states a year. And you teach 4-5 classes every 2 days.

This is not true. You can not get on base. Military wives however, can do this program.

What kind of university did you go to where you could graduate without ANY math courses? Even the most shady art school will require an Algebra and statistics or "real life" math course.

I was waiting for this comment from some pompous *beep*. You are far too predictable. Try some originality in thought.

You should be asking yourself what the hell is up with a university not requiring some basic math? I studied computer science, and still had to take several arts courses, including several writing courses. Math is a valuable skill, one that many people seem to be losing. I wrote in another thread that many people of my generation can't convert simple fractions into percentages. Pathetic.
