Ok, I am a total newbie here in korea 5 days and counting, I finally found a supermaket today and bought eggs, when I tried to make eggs on toast for dinner I found they were brown and appeared to be boiled... can anyone tell me how to buy fresh normal eggs? I feel really dumb asking but how do you tell the difference?

thanks

Jane

I think those are the smoked eggs, taste nasty.

Many minimart places won't have raw eggs but you can buy them easily at any grocery store.

Just go to any grocery store and you'll find plenty of eggs. If you go to any chain convenience store like 7-11, Family Mart, By the Way and the like, I doubt you'll find what you're looking for, but in Korean style stores you shouldn't have any trouble at all. Anyway, I never had any wherever I lived in Seoul.
