After being told a few times by students that my eyes are charismatic I inquired a little further. Turns out they think all foreigners have charismatic eyes,

I'm still none the wiser. Confused

Oh yeah, then there was the woman at the fruit stand who thought my hair was "yeppun" so she offloaded half her fruit cart on me for free. Wink

my cabbie told me "a pretty girl like you will be married in no time!" --trying to reassure me cuz i'm supposed to be sad about not being married?

kids said my hands are pretty

That's an example of thinking vocabulary has a 1:1 relationship between two languages. 매력적이다 (probably what she was thinking of) is usually translated as charming but it's a much broader word including charming, mysterious, unusual in an interesting way, blah, blah. . .

I've been complemented numerous times on the whiteness of my teeth. I guess they're impressive to Koreans.

I also had the word "nal-shi-na-da" said to me randomly in a subway station by an ajuma.
