Hi,
It seems that in almost every thread there are messages, which are negative towards Koreans or Korea. People dissing korea and some posts are openly racistic and giving impression that Koreans are somehow second class citizens compared to us westerners.
I'm sure you don't keep complaining about everything in your country, so why are you doing it here? And why do you tend to think the way things are done in your country of origin is automatically "the best" way? Obviously if that was true you wouldn't be here in the first place, right?
It also feels that non-teacher expats tend to complain much less so what if you teachers did the same and stopped being cry-babies.
Now that would be nice. |

So, are you complaining about people complaining?
At first it seems like you are honestly asking about the sentiment here.. but by the end, I think your message is clear. |

| Because few people who live here have anyone to talk to so they come here and vent. Get used to it. As the PC crowd says in America "If you don't like it....don't look". |

Short fuse
+ Language barrier
+ Being fresh out of college with little company type of social skills nor experience
+ Listening to people with whom they would not want to be assossiated in real life situations for hours
= Negativity!
PS. Being over mid 30s and having been in Korea for more than 3 years and still posting endless rants = loser |

Because Korea is the most ridiculous place on earth and nothing exemplifies this more than the Korean English educational system. |
Illuminating yet entertaining.
Total score: 8.9/10 |

Yet you live in what you call the most ridiculous place on earth, loser (or worse, Canadian), so are you posting from the mental ward or something? |

Balance.
Having 24 hours of "Korea is great, Korea's so nice, no one can match our spirit", some people feel the need to come on here and get in touch with reality. |

| Ya there is a lot of complaining on here, people got there own reasons, mostly just venting as perviously stated, but who cares? You will never get people to change, just like the complainers will never get Koreans to change, you just have to accept things in the world cause 99% of the time nothing you say or do can change it. The venting let's some peole deal with it instead of going postal I know that's why I do it. |

And there's the irony that never ceases to amaze me. I whine and whine about the incopetency, yet were the system remotely competent they wouldn't need me. |
