So, I'm walking around the playground during lunchtime today. I pass a group of third grade monsters and start to hear, "teacha puck you" and "shut the puck up." I look over and It's the three brats who always tear up my class. I strongly susspect these kids have some sort of undiagnosed behaviorial issue...or just need a good a$$ beating.

So I started to try to tell them it's "bad speaking", etc, when I realized they had no idea what I was saying. So I just continued on and they stopped.

I'm not angry or anything. They are just eight year old spazzims who barely understand how to wipe their bums, much less cross cutlural communication. However, I'm wondering if I shouldn't get their homeroom teacher involved. They really should know how offensive it is to tell someone, much less a teacher, to "shut the puck up". I mean, you would probably be suspended for saying that to a teacher back in America.

So, should I let it ride this one time, or get other people involved? I really don't want to make a big deal out of it, but....

no way, man, get the coteachers and possibly vice principal involved. if the teachers are unresponsive or laugh at it, ask them what they would do if a student called them she-ball sekkis or whatever.

18 sekki? That's my favorite K-word. Laughing

Get a bar of soap and wash their mouth with it. Wink

"I'll see YOU next class."

I would. They wouldn't DARE say it to a Korean teacher, but it's okay because you're not Korean? Screw that. I'd rather teach them manners (don't use language like that) than the fact that I'm a wuss (walk away without consequences).

I get lots of "18" and "10 baby" and "dog baby" in class (in uni). I like saying (in English) to "eat taffy". It takes them the entire semester to figure out what I'm telling them. Laughing

They'd never get "Batman's enemy".
