I did a bit of searching and couldn't find out go about finding how much credit I had left on my phone.

So I asked a Korean teacher at school and she called KTF for me. I expected that I would have to ask her to do this for me every now and then, but after one phone call to KTF she dialed another number, then hung up and told me they had an English service!

How many other countries have a bilingual automatic telephone service such as this? (I know, I am still in my honeymoon period, but feel free to point out that I will be a cynic before long).

So here is how to do it.

Dial 1500

Wait for the Korean to finish (unless of course you have much better language skills than I do). Then the English will kick in giving you a number to press. You will need your phone number and secret code to access the rest.

Easy.

I guess many know how to do this, but I have met at least one other here (though they are with SK) who didnt know this was available.

If you dont know your secret code, give the usual 0000 a try. Smile

That's true about the 0000. I accidentally locked my phone one time and I tried 0000 and it worked. I guess it's the default code in Korea, too. Anyway, thanks for the info.
