i cant have orange juice. for me, i need to eschew all dairy and citrus. it seems to thicken phlegm when i have a problem with my throat. thats really gross, i know... i just drink mostly water, tea, soda, and lots and lots and lots of it. |

It sounds like you have what I got last year at this same time. It is a reaction to the yellow dust coming from China. I am convinced of it now that I am back home and look back on my year in Korea. My throat stayed severly sore for much longer than for what any virus could have caused. It will probably last until the air clears. I found that sucking on ginseng candy helped me the most. You can get it at homeplus or any other store. Ginger tea also really helped me, but I didn't discover it until I had a sore throat later that was related to bronchitus and what not. Lemon teas work a little.
I will never forget how difficult it was to teach. If your material includes tapes, you can play them extra. You can always write on the board if you have one. We could use the internet and get any material we wanted. So you can get some fun sheets of related materials. |
