Would someone be so kind as to explain why I'm getting this when Windows starts up, and how I can get rid of it.



Virus and spyware checks both say I'm clean...

It is either your Realtek audio driver or a trojan. Try uninstalling your audio driver (if you are running Realtek onboard) or have a look at this:

Weird.

I've been getting the exact same thing on start-up since yesterday. And Microsoft have been throwing multiple automatic updates at me for the last few days so I'm thinking the post above by Draven may be quite correct.

Well, I downloaded yet another XP fix from Microsoft and that seems to have done the job.
