You've said this several times now - if you say it enough will you start believing it? |

| Kinda flakey if you will... Thats how many Koreans are...Maybe they do not intend to be offensive, but they are often starkly offensive, cold, unappreciative, inconsiderate, forgetful of critically important things, and downright rude. It's thier way of acting out the negatives in relationships and dealings in an indirect manner inside and outside of work without resorting to violence, screaming, and threats. Sure takes an open mind and tolerance to be compatible with living in Korea as to not hurt thier feelings with a negative response to all this hoopla. They expect you to suck up all these negative responses from them, then be cheerful at all times, and then immediately speak Korean fluently. Not very realistic in my opinion...Well, I have maintained patience for 3 months and feeling not so sure about Koreans and Korea. |
Culture shock is a bitch, huh? |

Nope, but egotism, vanity, and narcissism are a little less appealing. |

I was just thinking exactly this...hehehe...A Korean princess doesn't want to compete with a foreign princess, I guess. That's why she didn't show up at my party, maybe. She couldn't stand not having the spotlight on herself. |
By any chance, my dearie, are you from Guam? If you are I think I might know you. But if you aren't, I can introduce you to a certain lady who must be your twin sister at least when it comes to mentality. You little darlings would have a ball... or then again, you might be at each other's throats. There can be only one (Princess), eh? |

I have never met you, but you should realize that you come across as spoiled, self-centered, and mean. People don't think you're a real person because your personality is so unbelievable. Does that bother you at all? |

Ummmm ... yah ... well, as you've yet to cleary penetrate this sordid phenomenon:
It's ALL about the "Free" English.
Frankly, Koreans often perceive "Wae-Guk" westerners as dirty & offensive heathen creatures exuding an ostensibly bad body odour.
None of it's all that personal of course.
