It is actually closer to 3000 won for a cab.

The 11-1 and 11-2 go past immigration. There are others as well.

It is a 30-40 minute walk on a nice day.

I wouldn't walk. There aren't any sidewalks, and it's a pretty good distance. I always take a cab, because I don't know where to catch the bus that goes there.

From Yongin, I'd recommend the 6000 or the 10, maybe the 820 to Suwon Station, then head to Immi in a cab from there.

Take bus 92 or 92-1 across from the suwon station. Taxi is a little faster and will cost about 3000 won.

If you arrive by inter-city bus, there is an inter-city bus terminal right across the street (in the same building as E-Mart). I'm not sure if you can get a bus there from Yongin (might be too close for inter-city travel).

Well, went today and took the 6000 like kermo suggested. Caught a 36 bus from in front of the station and was there in 15 Min's. Got there a little after 9:00 and was out (after doing the ARC two-step for my wife) at 10:00 and got the ole 4,000w return by postage deal....SOOO glad they have that! Luckily the office wasn't filled w/ tuberculosis ridden 3D workers... Very Happy

Does that office service Kyonggi-do employees or just Suwon? I'm just past the outskirts of Seoul near Jamsil. How long would that take to get to Suwon?

Each office has a specific region that it covers.

http://www.immigration.go.kr/HP/IMM80/imm_08/imm_8010.jsp

or if that link doesn't work click on
http://www.immigration.go.kr/indeximmeng.html
and click the button on the right that says "Immigration Branch office & Jurisdiction"

The following are all covered by the main Seoul immigration office:

Seoul(Dongjak-gu, Gangdong-gu, Gangnam-gu, Gangseo-gu, Geumcheon-gu, Guro-gu, Gwanak-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Mapo-gu, Seocho-gu, Seodaemun-gu , Seongdong-gu, Songpa-gu, Yangcheon-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Yongsan-gu),

Gwachon, Seongnam, Anyang, Hanam, Gwang myeong
