I'm getting ready to go home, and all my crap won't fit in my backpacking bag and suitcase. Hence, I need to get a fairly decent sized suitcase, but I don't want to pay a fortune for it. Any ideas on where I could pick one up?

Thanks.

How many kilo's is your stuff? Before you get a large suitcase, find out from the airlines weight/cost. It may be cheaper for you to take 2 bags, then one that is over weight, Find out about shipping/mailing some things home. That may be cheaper yet. (and easier on your back)

I just flew over here 4 months ago and seen that 62 linear inches (Length + Width + Height) and 50 pounds is the limit or else you pay extra baggage fees of many hundreds of dollars for a long haul trip involving several flights. Contact your airline on what the maximums are and also get quotes from shipping services.

Be warned, that those large suit cases are often 63 to 64 linear inches that are advertised as 62 linear inches, becuase the wheels add an extra inch or so. How deceptive it is, but true that they will suprisingly add alot of fees ($100 to $300) on top of your air ticket.
