Home connection in Suwon. |
Is that TBroad you're using?
I have the same provider in Osan.
How are you finding it?
I'm pleased except every so often it goes down for a few hours and the router is password protected so I can't use torrents. |

I'm on T-Broad.
No problems with using torrents.
Live 100m from old Spliff as well.
Shouldn't have any problems with torrents. Are you sure your firewall is open? |

Do these tests have varying results depending on the time of day? It's Friday night and I imagine a lot of Koreans are on the net now...does that effect the results?
There's a latency of 430 with the server in Hong Kong...
My results are pretty slow, and I'm paying 35,000 a month. |

I think so, but it's not running at the moment according to windows task manager...er, I hope you were talking to me!
Is there any way to speed up a connection the way I used to be able to with dial-up (not sure if those software packages were just using an intermediary server to compress files though). IOLO System Mechanic worked wonders for my computer. |

Where are you? Uilleongdo? I'd cease that connection right now if you're in any piece of civilization in Korea. |

Apparently, at 5am I was over 21,000 download, an hour later it was around 11,000. At 8.30 am it was down to 5300. You'll get different results each time you take the test. (at least I have) If you click on "Compare your results with others" it will give you a graph of all your tests and average results. |
