What do think of tarot card readings done in Hongdae? In my opinion, it can be quite a creepy experience, especially if you are told something you have actually been doing/not doing. Shocked

I think it's completely bullshit and refuse to spend any money or time on it.

It was 5,000 won per question. Shocked Not so cheap, huh? I only asked about one thing. You can choose between love, marriage, career, etc readings. 5,000 per topic. There were 3 guys in the tent. Two older ones and a younger one.

I'll answer any question you have for only 4,000 won.

That's all it is. It's always rather amazing how the power of the tarot et al disappears when the subject only gives yes or no answers.

My now ex-coworker believed she was a witch and gave tarot card readings. She gave them to a couple of the Korean teachers in the office, and they secretly laughed about it behind her back. She gave me a reading, and promptly began crying, because there was "so much emotion in my life."

I have in the past predicted some things about some people (I can't do this all the time) by feeling their energy. However, I didn't ask for money, I have no control over this, and I don't believe in tarot readings. However, I think it is possible that some people do possess a sixth sense, but that is a different topic. It was found through some experiments that animals possess a sixth sense, so why not humans and sometimes by questions people pose you can guess their situation. If I were a tarot card reader, I see many people and many people have similar situations.

Capisce?

What experiments? I'm not sure you are using the word energy in the correct way.

How can you explain feeling someone's feelings from a distance? Is that energy? How can you explain hearing your brother's thoughts when he was in Europe while you picked up on his thoughts that he e-mailed to you the next day? As far as the experiments, I was reading about some experiments that were conducted in England on dogs and cats to see if they could know when their master was coming home. It was found the animals knew even before they could even visually see them. That is quite fascinating, I think. However, I am skeptical about tarot and most people who claim to have some sixth sense they are using for profit.
