So, I'm a geek, but of the PC/gaming flavor, and am having trouble finding a new PDA.

I love yongsan, and know my way around Sojin Plaza, but they mainly deal with computer parts rather than PDAs.

I know I could try technomart, but personally I hate the place because all the salesman are slimy know-nothings who have little to know knowledge of the products they're selling (IMHO).

Is there anywhere else I'm missing? Internet shopping is okay, although I've tried both Enuri.com and ... some other one I've forgotten the name of, but either way, there are few to none for PDAs

Any help would be appreciated!

As a side note: does anyone have an recommendations on a good one? I'm leaning more towards a Palm, and would like it to:
- Have an SD card slot (or other expansion)
- Have good battery life
- Have ability to accept a folding keyboard (I know most modern ones do this)
- Wifi would be nice for surfing the net for 'free'
- Video playback is not really necessary (although nice) as the GF has a video iPod and I have a tricked out DSLite.

It's basically for writing emails whilst backpacking (write a bunch, find Internet cafe, send em, leave). Got about $100-$200 to spend.

Thanks!

Stay away from Palm's. They have a 1GB or 2GB SD Memory card limit.

My Tungsten T3 will only support up to 1GB on the memory stick. Its a great PDA, I only wish it could support larger memory.

Also, a lot of Palms don't have built in Wifi support. I think there is more software available for the Windows Mobile/PocketPC PDA's.

Ah - didn't know that. Always good to have a huge upgrade size. That said, I use my 60GB iPod to carry lots of stuff, and my Nintendo has a lovely M3 that accepts upto 4GB of games and movies etc.

Yeah, I heard PocketPC is more of a powerhouse, but uses more battery as a result.

Really? I actually heard the opposite. Hmm...

Anyhow, as great as this is - the more important question is: Where can I buy one?!

Thanks!

I've got a Dell Axim X-51v and it's fantastic. I got it through GS Mall online. My wife helped me buy it. It's amazing to think that this thing is as powerful as a desktop PC was back in 2000.

Here's one I found on Auction.co.kr:

GS Mall:

I've got an HP RX3715 in excellent condition, if you're interested. Has WiFi, Bluetooth, plenty of built in memory and an SD slot.. I was using it with 4GB (not included). Selling for 200K.

Give me a PM if interested, I just haven't got around to posting it on the Buy/Sell forum yet~
