Hi all, thanks so much for the feedback about essay writing. You were all so helpful that I'm enlisting it again. I'll look at ESL Cafe to see about them but any other sources and/or books about listening/speaking and reading would be great!

Yes I can!
The listening/speaking and reading is all for TOEFL yet again. It's to prepare middle school students for the test. Though not officially, we won't guarantee their scores.
I'm supposed to come up with suggestions on how to teach the course, we're making up the curriculum and all that jazz.
Hope it clears some things up. |

You can probably find a junior TOEFL prep course book easily enough. Just go to your local bookstore. As for how to teach the course, good luck. If you are trying to teach middle schoolers you'll be lucky if you can get them to pay attention long enough to do the listening sections. Unless you are at a place where the students are expected to actually do some work in class, (which is quite uncommon in Korea) it is going to be more of a waste of time than anything else.
But that's just my opinion.

Check out my guide to teaching resources hopefully that will be of help. There is a new book out in the cambridge series called Teaching English to Koreans. It is a series of academic essays and looks very good. One of my colleagues bought it at COEX. This morning I went to Kyobo and Youngpoong but could not find it there.
When I get a copy and have the exact title and editor I will add it to the list.
