| The road leading up to Camp Walker's gate is lined with nail shops that have tanning. Good prices and they speak english. |

Directions to Camp Walker service road.
There are about 2-3 beauty salons halfway down the service road. Sexy Nails is on the left, Magic Nails on the right.

| i think you can get one session at magic tan for around 35,000...a bit expensive |
How long is one session? |
Well it's a spray-on tan. Back home magic tan takes about a minute or two in the booth, so I'm guessing that it's the same here. |
the place is called magic tan, but it has both spray and regular tanning. if it's your first regular tanning session, i think it's about 10 minutes, but mine run about 12.
i've used jenny as well (and a few others), but some just dont tan me quite right...it's something to do with the lotion i think
personally, i prefer magic tan (they have nice lotion) and the place in itaewon (and buying my own tanning oil in myeongdong, since i've found the american brand i like)...both clean and nice |

I should let people who live in the Anyang / Sanbon area know that there is a tanning bed at a Fitness Center located at Sanbon station. It costs 150,000 won for 15 sessions, and with that you get a free bottle of tanning oil. I am not too skilled with giving out directions, but it is on the 9th floor (top floor) of a building across from a newly opened Vietnamese restaurant. If you can't find it, PM me, and if worse comes to worse I'll meet you and show you where it is myself. None of the staff there seems to speak English. In fact, I am surprised there is a bed there, as the place seems to be frequented only by Koreans.
The tanning beds are good if you are preparing to go to Thailand's beaches for a 7 day trip or something. Then you can be on the beach right away, and for longer, without worrying about burning. Also, it is good to get rid of acne. Using it in moderation should be no worry for cancer, unless of course, you are from Norway. |

| I have been scouring the tanning threads but can't find any tanning beds in Bundang, specifically the Jeongja area. Does anyone know of any? Thanks. |

there's one up kyun lee dong(sp?) hill, but i've never tried it
i have tried jenny's
it's okay, but it's a stand up one for about 25-30 minutes. that's quite a long time to stand (for me) and the quality wasnt that great. i tanned, but it seemed like a really abrassive maybe really bad for my skin type of tan (i know they arent great anyway, but this one just seemed a little worse)
i've also tried a bed in gunja that was okay...decent price and it worked, but no fans=really hot
i love magic tan (even though it's way overpriced and the prices went up)...nice place, nice people, nice lotion, nice music and fans
there's also a place right down the street from magic tan in apgu that i may try next
i'll give directions to any if needed |

How about an update to this thread. Anyone know of a good place to tan in Seoul/Itaewon?
I went to one place a couple years ago, but was a total waste of time. After 20 minutes all I did was sweat. No colour at all.
If there is any place out there worth going to I'd appreciate the heads up.
Prices would be nice too. Cheers!! |

| Most Korean tanning places don't change their bulbs....EVER. And many of them, for some bizzare reason, are only open during the summer. |
