Paying to work in Korea... outrageous! Evil or Very Mad

Do you know anyone who has come and taught from this

lol actually i did something like this for my first year from i-to-i tefl. of course i didnt know any better. they put in a tiny province called yecheon near andong city. it cost about 300 pounds at that time. looking back of course it was stupid but i had no idea that i could find a job by myself at that time. they took that money and just introduced me to a recruiter. they even said that there was a possibility that i couldnt get a job even though i paid the money, so i should do everything the recruiter said and take whatever he offered, so with me not wanting to lose the money i spent, i accepted.

yeah i got ripped off, but if i hadn't have joined that programme i probably would have never come to korea in the first place, so i'm glad i did it in the end.

but 1700 pounds?????????? HUGE RIP OFF!

I love it! "South Korea" is a new gap year destination. Laughing

I suppose in theory the money charged is for the language course and the uni accom.

But, as we know you can arrange all that yourself.

"Excellent wage of 900 GBP a month" that's like 1. 6million won a month Laughing. Who gets paid that little these days?

Also, you notice that it doesn't say that they will be available to help you whilst you are working in Korea.
