The lounge/bar Comfort Zone, which already had rather tasty dinners/bar food, started serving breakfast from 9:30am to 4:30pm 7 days a week. The selection is a bit limited at the moment, but the taste is top-notch. Either of the choices below comes with juice and bottomless coffee for 6,000 won.
1.Eggs (various styles), bacon, toast, potatoes.

2. Tasty French Toast with strawberries and bananas.

Its got a comfortable outdoor patio (two levels), magazines/newspapers for reading at the tables (English/Korean), and friendly owners.

I quite like the various breakfast places in Itaewon too, but this is a nice change of pace.
Also, quite selfishly, I like the food and I want them to have enough customers (though they seemed busy enough this morning) that I can keep getting my hangover breakfast closer to home.

Directions: Hyehwa Exit 4. Take a left out of the exit onto the pedestrian street (ot the big main Daehangno street). Walk along it till the street ends at an odd intersection after a block or two, and if you look to your right across the street you'll see a Burger King. Cross there. CZ is behind the Burger King, in total about a 5 minute walk from the subway. Tasty.

Yes. I like to make my french toast with flat slices of sponge and styrofoam. And eggs are bad for you, too. I soak the slices awhile in white glue before frying them in a couple tablespoons of prune juice. I sprinkle them with confetti and viola! Breakfast!
