Aparently Korean police yesterday captured 46 foreigners teaching English illegally. The article goes on to detail the cirmumstances of one Bulgarian man, barely able to even speak English who came to Korea on a tourist visa and was able to gain a 2 million won position teaching basic Kindergarten due to the colout of his skin.

17 chinese, 10 canadian, 7 american and 4 new zealanders and 8 others from other non english speaking countries.

Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Eh? How is it that I like it?

No, I sure wouldn't like to be left behind all alone. They'd have to rename this place "Dave's Guru-talking-to-himself Cafe". It'd be down to me a bunch of ex-Korea hands shouting at each other on Current Events. I'd buy/sell/trade stuff to myself. wow. Nah, I prefer things just like they are here at Dave's ESL Teachers with Tourette's Cafe. Smile
