Flying Cows sent me over the first time, and I was on the plane with two more girls and two guys (all of us from UK) whom Amanda also set up. I lost touch with one guy but the rest of us all had great experiences. I'd go through them if you can, as I'd trust them to find reliable schools. Just keep calling so they know you definately want to go. Good luck

Well I followed Alabamaman's advice and contacted ESL Planet. I received a *very* shady contract. Sucker contract. Complete with 3.3% income tax.

In Rowan's defence, he was very effective on the telephone. Had interviews set up within minutes. He will work very quickly with you.

Unfortunately many red flags went up. I came to two conclusions:

(1) He is an honest good guy but his attention to detail is abysmal. Perhaps because he feels details don't matter in Korea so why should they matter in a contract.

(2) He is not an honest good guy, and his contracts reflect this.

I don't know which is the case, but I bailed nonetheless. Attention to detail *does* matter to me.

I am now working with Jasmine from ATC. She's seems very nice. No red flags as of yet have been raised. She is not pushy in any way.

I also signed up with ASK NOW on May 3. To this day (May 13) I still have yet to speak to a real person. I am on their automated email system. No job offers. They have an odd way of doing business. Besides the total lack of personal contact, only 1 red flag has been raised. (My bullsh*t metre went off in their most recent automated mass email). They do provide some helpful advice.

Do NOT use Kim's Korea. They TOTALLY TRICKED my friend by luring him into a job that forces him to teach 8 classes per day without overtime. Of course they were warm and friendly when getting him to sign the contract with the school. He was told that he would be teaching only 5 hours per day and would have all the time in the world to discover Korea. He is at the school from 9am to 6pm and is exhausted all the time. If you want to be TRICKED by women with nice voices go to Kim's Korea. they are happy to be agents of the ESL techer slave trade and are TOTALLY in cahoots with the Sleaziest hagwons. They serve the bad hagwon markets, the schools that nobody will work at. They lure the naive vlueless teachers from overseas who know nothing about what they are getting themselevs into. Don't get TRICKED!!!!
