Do I have to go to the main immigration place to get my ARC, or can I go to one near me?

I'm in Anyang city.
Is there an office nearby?

You need to go to the specific immigration office which looks after your area - no choice. This may not be the one which is physically closest to you. If you go onto the English version of the Korean Immigration website it will tell you which office is responsible for where in the country.

What is the process of getting a new ARC card? Just bring passport, proof of being an employee from your school, pictures, and the cash. Anything else?

But do they have all that stuff on file from when it was first done? Or is it considered a new process?

u need a letter of employment and another paper from ur school and ur passport for sure, the ARC application which u get an imm. and u need to pay the fee. u need to find out which office is "in charge" of your district.
The one in mok dong only does that area even though it's "the main office"

make sure u go during school time and not ur own time like on a saturday or something stupid

I know from when I went to apply for my ARC that there was one piece of paper which they needed from the school (a registration certificate or something similar) which was not listed on their website ...
I was lucky that I had someone from school with me who was able to get it faxed through quickly to the office and just generally help ... Helping with getting the ARC seems to be one of the things which the public schools do routinely help to organise including someone coming along ... It is worth it if possible ...

One thing to know is that you can pay to have the ARC and your passport excetra couriered back to you a few days later (which is how long it takes to get the card) which is a great option if like me you have to travel some distance to get the relevant immigration office... It was an hour each way by car for us ... and to do it by bus and subway would have taken 2 hours each way.... plus we could only go in school hours ... so I paid to have it couriered and it was there a few days later ... well worth it to me...

You defo need the biz reg doc. Went there yesterday without it (co-teacher claimed I had everything I needed...) and had to get it faxed.

Brits can get their single entry upgraded to multiple for free.

Several questions...

1. Do I go to the office near my school or near my home?

2. How the heck do I find out where this office is? I looked on the Immigration website...maybe I'm overlooking it.

3. I was told to take my contract, passport, photos, and money. This is the first I've heard of this business registration. Is my contract not sufficient?

How long do I have to get my ARC after I pick up my visa?

technically you have 90 days to get your ARC after you have entered on an E2 visa. but you can't get health insurance without the ARC card, and you are technically paying into health from the moment you get into country on your E2 visa. So you are better off getting it asap so that you can get your medical.
