well, i think the trailer park boys are back in high style, although i agree that the focus on making money is overplayed.

happy to see Lahey is drinking again and the Lahey car scenes are (no spoiler) funny as *beep*....

Just finished the new episode. It's a good one. They didn't spend too much time on bit characters, and Randy, Bubbles, and Lahey were in top form.

Conky! Only the funniest character on the show. He was shot in the face by Julian after making a Dirty Dancin' joke in season 4. He is so crazy and he makes Bubbles even funnier.

Bubbles is from my hometown in NS. His parents still live in the house about 5 mins down the road from mine. I'm pretty sure his mother is still working as the cafeteria lady at the local elementary school.
While I'm by no means good friends with him (he's about 7 years older than me), I've met him on numerous occasions. It's nothing for him to walk into a bar or house party at home (not in character) and people who didn't know who he was before the show have no idea who he is (he looks suprisingly different without the glasses and his jaw stuck out).
He used to play in the band "Sandbox". They were semi-famous in the mid nineties, and went to the tope 10 o the much music countdown with the song "Curious".
Oh ya, and he may or may not have boinked my ex-girlfriend. But that's a story for another day.

Just a question on TPB etiquette.

Is it okay to fast forward through the theme song.

Also I am hoping it is okay not to watch the credits.

Little Mosque on the Prairie is quite funny as is Corner Gas.

I also suggest Kink, I'm not sure if that is Canadian, but I think it is and it rocked although I have not seen it since I came back to Korea.

Conky sucks now. It's kind of like taking Ricky, making him stop insulting everyone and ranting about everything, and smoking grass in private. Conky should've just insulted everyone and taken the drugs for himself.
