I sent my stuff to my employer on Friday, they've received it Monday. That day they took it to the Department of Justice or whatever so I can get an issuance number and use it to get a visa here in Canada.
How long does this process usually take? I haven't heard anything and it's Thursday. |

5 to 10 working days to process a visa confirmation number AFTER the documents are received by immigration and assuming there is no problem with the documents (like some brain dead director opening the transcripts).
Just as a PS... your monday is our tuesday.... so tues, wed, thurs, fri, sat, sun, mon - would be 5 working days... so that is the soonest you can expect your visa confirmation number.
Typically it takes about 21 days from when you submit your documents to your school until the time you get on the plane. SOMETIMES with a little luck and a not busy office that can be shortened down to 14 days. |
