I hope that fascist bigots like yourself are kept from getting US visas.
As I said before I know Igotthiguitar that you have't won anything in your life, but that will change one day cause when you die you will get your own death certificate.
You won't be missed. |

Did you even READ what I said? Here I'll post it again and put the important word(s) in capitals so you can understand.
"the U.S. is fighting a MUCH more humane battle then Saddam would". First of all I was pointing out to mcgeezer that this is why America is losing.
Secondly saying MUCH MORE hardly equates to putting " it close to the same basket Saddam ever occupied." |
Yeah, I read it, and I think you're digging yourself deeper.
1) Saddam was scum. Glad it was his own people that killed him.
2) You ARE putting America in the same basket with Saddam even by whispering such a comparison. If we cannot hope or even pretend to be better, we have no business getting out of bed in the morning.
3) War should never be humane, but the purpose of a war ought to be. This one does not meet that criteria.
4) I think you are right if you are saying what I think you were saying - we're losing the war because we are being too humane. If you go to war, you should never worry about being humane. Like Patton said, "Nobody ever won a war by dying for their country, they did it by making the OTHER poor sucker die for HIS country." If your reasons are the right reasons, just go in, find the jugular and let the blood flow all over your face. Don't look back, don't think twice, don't do anything else but kill and drink every bit of it down.
This one doesn't qualify. Abu Ghraib, doesn't qualify. Fallujah, doesn't qualify. Almost as many - or tomorrow, maybe more - American soldiers dead as the number dead in the World Trade Center on 9/11 ...
Doesn't qualify.
This thing is whack. Bad for America. End it. End it now. |

The US easily has the power to clobber Iran and the insurgents but the is not the US style to use such brutal tactics.
Saddam Hussein had no problem with the Kurds or the Shia when they rose up. Were the one tenth as cruel as Saddam then there would be no insurgents. but it is not the US style to be like Saddam or anything like Saddam. |

1. Ahh, at least we agree on something.
2. Not attempting to make a comparision, stating a FACT. People were and have been comparing Bush to Hitler and suggesting that he be tried for war crimes...which Saddam was hung for.
3. I disagree. Pulling out now would make things even worse. And tell me sir, do you even read mainstream newspapers? Even the ones like TIME, Newsweek and The Economist (all of which are critical of Bush) think that pulling out now would make things worse. So all these people are wrong and YOU are right?
4. Patton had it right. But speaking of qualifying:
More would be dead had that planned attack on Kennedy Airport succeeded. Still think America is not risking attack by terrorists? Right now the majority is tied down in Iraq. How much more of a threat would they pose with a state and millions of barrels of oil to sell at their disposal? |

I don't know if I'm right, and who can honestly say something like that? That's what you find out later.
Everyone is critical of Bush now. Used to feel like it was only me, though there were a few others, of course. Now it's hard to find people who are not. What's right and real and true is not decided by a hand vote, though. It's decided by what happens. What's happening now is bad. What is likely to happen later is at least as bad, and likely worse.
I know what I want, though.
End this thing. End it now. |
