Hi y'all,

I'm thinking of coming over to Korea to teach English. What does it take to be an English teacher in Korea?

I disagree with tomodachi (avatar is very stimulating however....). I found the transition to life in Korea very easy and painless. If you're sure you want to do it, try to give yourself 6 months or so to do a bit of research and prepare, or at least a few months to search for the right job in the right location. This forum should represent roughly 0.000000367% of that research. Also, start learning Korean language today, if only little by little; you won't regret it.

Under 'KOREA JOB FORUMS', click on 'KOREA FAQ' for a ton of threads addressing this. Good luck to you.
