By range I assume you mean price? Well I was there a few weeks ago and they were really expensive. The guy wanted something like 40 or 50k for a pack of 12. The powder drink mix is the better way to go IMO. |

Hi oxfordstu
I meant more brands and range of bars... 40-50K for 12 Pria bars? |

It was something like that. I don't remember the exact price, but it was way too much IMO. |

Have a friend ship you Clif bars from the US (or other countries where they are sold). There's no better energy bar. |

You can buy 12 Myoplex Lite Protein bars (15 grams of Protein/190 Calories) for 33,000 won in Namdaemun. I have seen other kinds including Muscletech brand which sell for around 40,000 I believe. You can ask at the information center in Namdaemun too. You turn right when you get outside of Exit 5 and walk for a few minutes. The place I go to is a few minutes past the information booth and it is a tunnel leading down on the right hand side.
There is a guy that speaks pretty good English. |

That's a huge help, thank you Guri!
Guess I'll have to try my first Myoplex bar soon... |

I buy all my suppliments from www.bodybuilding.com . Gets here in about 5-6 days and I know nothing has expired (something you need to check on at Namdaemun). |

Ah crap! Sorry... They are not open Sundays. ㅠㅠ
I believe they are open until 6:30 (6:00 for sure) on Weekdays. I saw some Pria bars there but I forget to ask how much they were.
The guy I buy from is now selling oatmeal though so I can buy everything from the same guy. He is right around the corner from the KEB bank machine (like about 5 feet away). I buy my protein powder from him, BCAA (Branch chain Amino Acids), L-Glutamine, Quaker oatmeal and I am trying some new Muscletech products as well. I told him more foreigners would be coming to visit. If he doesn't have it in stock he can also get it from nearby people. They all seem to work together.
Never had a problem with expiry dates. I always check though. |

Jessiaka. What are the shipping prices like for Bodybuilding.com?
Their prices seem decent. (Cheaper than Namdaemun) However if the Shipping is huge and Korean customs screws us like they usually do it may end up not being worth it.
When my contract is finished I would probably consider using them if I end up elsewhere though. Thanks for the info. |

Not your fault, Guri!
One guy quoted 2,000W a Pria bar, with no discounts for bulk (box) purchases. Also, 3,000 for a Myoplex bar (despite someone above getting 12 for 33,000). So... I know I was getting the 'high' price. There's got to be a better deal out there...
Going to take a look at that site... thanks for the link, jessiaka. |

I order everything from bodybuilding.com, and I can tell you shipping about doubles the cost for bars and powders (pills, like the multivitamins they have are different, since they're lighter)- if you order $40 worth, your total will be about $80. I've ordered from the site many times in Korea; enough to make this generalization. |
