The war on terror is forcing Bathists, Khomeni followers and Al Qaedists to give up their war.

I haven't seen any evidence of this.

Let me rephrase : It is the the policy of forcing it.

Libya is one case.

It took a while to bring down the Soviet Union but it more or less worked.

The US may need to escalate , apply more force and start killing the leaders. What ever amount of force is requred to do so is ok. Cause the other side doesn't have a right to their war.

M ost of the Candidates will probably, despite what they will not completely withdraw US troops from Iraq.

And more importantly if the Bathists, Khomeni followers and Al Qaedists don't give up their war then the US will bomb and invade again. The war will continue until the other side quits, cause the US is not going to accept a war against it.
