Sometimes, well, usually it's brilliant to see dogs interact with each other.
I just took my two dogs out for a walk and we came across another pair who had escaped from their owners yard.
This big shaved dog came out and went straight for my Jindo and was, shall we say "interested" in her; and she in him.
He did a little whiz on a nearby sign.
She replied
He replied
She replied
He replied.
I think the two of them pissed at least 7 or 8 times. It's funny to realize that that is how they talk. I just wonder if those whizzes are all different or telling the other dogs something different.

I like hearing dog stories; anyone have any other good ones?

Oh, the strange thing was that this big dog was actually a golden retriever, ....shaved. Who does that to those beautiful dogs?

My dogs talking.

The one on the right is a golder retriever...shaved, and on the left is my c0cker..shaved. Who does that? Someone who first cares about their dog in the Korean summer and second, someone who doesn't like massive amounts of long hairs all over everything.

They have no idea. We went to get them cut and the vet lady asked how do you want it done....I said "whatever is most humiliating", but the skirt would have none of it.

Hate to break it to you dude, but that is a myth. Shaving your dogs does little to effect how hot they get in summer. The density of fur is more important than length when it comes to being cooler in summer or warmer in winter. Do you believe in fan death too? Your second thing is true though. Cool Now how bout you scurry back to the technology forum. Cool

You need some loving? Are you having your "special" time of the month? Either way hunnie, the name calling isn't becoming of you.

As for who I am, does that really matter, do you have to be a "somebody" on this board to correct incorrect information? If that is the case, I don't want to be a somebody.

ps. want a hook up? Embarassed

I guess we can all just be grateful that most Canadians don't behave as childishly as yourself. Correcting information is one thing, but your arrogant way of writing is inappropriate. And, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not gay and having plenty of action without any help from yourself.

Why the hate? When one makes a stupid statement that is not based in reality then one should take them up on it. I am sure he would / and does the same thing to someone who made just such a statement in the technology forum.

No worries. Just more hearsay from the internet.

As for his "information", well, that will remain as suspect as his character.

I can't see how having less hair is, if not beneficial in keeping them cooler, does any harm whatsoever. The pooch looks better and for what it's worth, she seems to feel better (her behavior is more spry, active) after a cut.

SKC, you are a wonderful individual. Keep spreading your love, man. Wink

Here is a quote from a major dog food producer

http://www.pedigree.com/dogsandpuppies/adult+dogs/health+care/health+check/hot+weather+tips.asp..There are a number of things you can do to help keep your dog cool, but clipping or shaving him is not one of them! Many vets agree that keeping a dogs coat long will keep him cooler because it is insulating.

They sure are a beautiful pair of crotch-sniffers, Demo.

And, BTW, my Schnauzer also seems more active and joyful after his haircuts. If it doesn't actually keep them cool, then it definitely makes them happier and easier to look after.

Thanks for the comments. For a couple of strays, they are pretty neat little animals.

As for the long/short coat thing, well, to each their own. I haven't done any research, but to think that long hair is cooler than short seems to go against logic. I don't feel it's of any consequence to keep it short, so it will be.
