Are there any affordable golf courses in Korea? I'm heading to Seoul in about a month and am wondering if it is worthwhile to ship my clubs over. I did a search and it appears to be pretty expensive, but those threads were a few years old and I have heard that golf in Korea is starting to drop in price.
Are there any "hidden gems" out there where golf is at least moderately priced? Has anyone found a way to play without paying an arm and a leg? |

When I was 12 I used to hide in the bunkers and steal the golf balls. then sell them.
Ah, good times, good times. |

A round of gold, er golf will set you back anywhere from $200 up IF you can even get a T-time. There are lots of video golf places but I have no idea what they run for a couple hours.
Leave your clubs home unless you plan to fly to the Philippines or Thailand for your golf. |

| Unless you have semi-high rolling Korean friends, golf will be out of the question for you. The U.S. Army has a very nice course in Songnam, in south Seoul. If you have Army contacts who can sign you on, you can play there no problem- and with cheap U.S. public course prices.. |
