I logged on this morning from home to find aldaily.com (Arts and Letters Daily, A Chronicle of Higher Education) blocked. Although, I'm loving the irony, I'm not enjoying the implications and really have to suppress the urge to go b-slap someone with a wet fish.

Anyone had any similar experiences recently, not counting porn sites and their ilk?

My school added a new anti under 18 program. It blocks out wikipedia. I found that to be pain, as when I was teaching I used to be able to use it to show things and information to the students.

If you have any friends - who are "Korean Public school teachers" - just ask them to phone the appropriate government department - and unblock the site - its as easy as that....

I once had Public school "English festivals" on "Youtube.com" - but I found the site blocked at my school computer....

A Korean Public school teacher phoned the appropriate governement department - and the next day "Youtube.com" was unblockd in every public school throughout seoul...........

as simple as that...........
