I have plenty of Gillette clear gel deodorant I brought with me from England.

It's frustrating I cannot seem to buy this online anywhere which ships to South Korea.

I don't mind contacting family to get this sent to me, if I have to, but I think it's rubbish in the 21st Century we can't send some things anywhere in the world.

Anyway, could I get deodorant in my local homeplus?

Where in Itaewon is it sold and is it expensive? If it is I'll contact family to get it sent over.

Lastly, would there be any problem with me getting deodorant and nasal spray sent from England to South Korea e.g. customs/is it legal?

I know this has been raised a lot before, but I need answers to these questions. Thank you.

I see "anti-persperant" around, but not simple "deodorant." No aluminum for me, please.

There seems to be more deodorant and anti-antiperspirant around these days.

Check out 'Olive' stores, they have the Nivea and Gillette range.

For anyone that lives in Bundang, you can get deodorant (and anti-perspirant) and lots of other western products (food, beer) at I Love Cookie. It's just off the main drag in Jeongja. Just check the expiration dates on things, because I don't think a whole lot of people are shopping there.

Check it out, I know several places to buy it in Seoul, unless you are far off.

bibbitybop, wow, i have just the opposite results in 3 years here. cannot find anything BUT deodorant. always on the lookout for an actual anti-perspirant. that Nivea stuff someone mentioned is a pretty bottle, but also pretty small for the price, and not nearly as good as RIght Guard with all its cool marketing et al.

I've been using the Gillette anti-perspirant/deodorant body spray for a while now but haven't found it anywhere in Korea, so I had to have it sent over from back home. Arrived without any fuss. The Nivea stuff just doesn't cut it for me.

There's not much point in trying to convert the guy: once you've used Gillette clear gel it's hard to go back to anything else.

The stuff works wonders on the pits: none of that rashing that you get from speedstick, right gaurd and that crap old spice.

You can get the deoderant shipped to you. If you want to purchase it here, Namdaemun might have it, the little convenience store right outside the itaewon exit has it (5000) and there's a small cologne/deoderant/perfume stall in Myungdong pretty much across the street from one of the entrances to the Savoy hotel (5000). Also, I'm certain that Hannam supermarket (the little corner shop right through the entrance) has it as well (5000).

Hi,

You could try ebay?
I dot a 3 pack of 24H anti-perspirant, and I find it priceless these days.
It cost me 24,000 in total, but should last a a year and more.

To be honest, I haven't shopped hard, but I do look at name brands when I see them and they are all anti-persperant deordorants. Hmmmmmm

I'll keep importing my supply on my own to avoid all this...
