When is a subsway station going to open in Kwangju, Kyeonggi Do? The closest one there is Moran market, but is one going to be opening anytime soon in Kwangju? |

ummm... when did they relocate it... it was there Friday when I was at work (I work in Gyeonggi-do, Kwangju-si). Does this mean I am unemployed because my city no longer exists?
Do I have to change my drivers licence and car registration now?
To the OP...
I haven't seen any extensions out that way on any of the subway maps so I guess there is none going out that way in the next decade or so.
You're gonna have to continue taking the 17 bus for now. |

The bus number from Gwangju ito Moran is different depending on where you live in Gwangju - For me it is number 32 |

on dong ee on chair - even I sometimes have a small sense of humor.
But you are correct. I should have stuck a smiley in there to make it obvious that it was meant in good humor. |

I lived in Gwangju 2004-05, and I lived not too far from the stadium and Mega Mart. |

I lived in Kwang Ju (Kyung Gi) in 1996. Was my first year in Korea. Hope to revisit the place again sometime soon. Wasn't even a city back then. Went back for a look around the end of 2005. Is the London Hof still on the main street? That's about the only Hof I can remember that was still in business. Used to be open almost 24 hours. Can remember passing out in there and being shoved out onto the street around 5am in the morning.
Used to teach some High School kids in a Hagwon until 12pm and then get taken out to a company at 5:30am a couple of times a week. Almost taught in my sleep.
Fell into the small river on the way home one night and split my chin ... slipped on some ice ...
It was the best of times. It was the worst of times ... |
