|

I've got the good luck of working for a school that does things the right way, so I need to get my visa in the USA. What I'm wondering here is if I will need to go to NYC (the nearest consulate to me) or if I can simply mail in my application with my visa confirmation number and passport? If I can, I'd love to avoid travelling to NYC which I consider to be a hellish moneypit from which there is no escape (can you tell I'm from upstate NY?)
Anyway, any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks !

Use some kind of insured shipping to send your passport
to the consulate.
Call the consulate to find out exactly what is needed
in the package.
I can't remember exactly but I think it was a postal money order,
a copy of the passport, the original passport, and the magic visa number
you got via email. |

Gangwon-do reminds me of Upstate New York, but I've only just driven through. |
