Yeah, okay. So, I've seen this on many products and in advertisements for a long time. Of course it's nothing new, but it still perplexes me.

What do they mean by this?

For example, what distinguishes a regular coffee mix from a 'well-being' coffee mix? Perhaps a lack of dairy? ...but then again we need calcium to be healthy, especially Asian women who are so highly prone to osteoporosis...so...Perhaps a lack of actual sugar? ...but then again doesn't our body need a daily intake of sugars? ...

I don't get it. And it's so widespread and laughably so. Maybe it's just a clever gimmick like the 'S-Line' and all that other crap.

--->By the way, happy Fourth of July

It seems like a buzzword for "diet," which is in turn a western buzzword for "healthy."

It is overused, and many Koreans know this and laugh about it. I recently saw a cartoon in a newspaper which had builders adding green tea powder to their concrete, then selling the apartments at higher prices because they were "Well Being Apartments".

9 out of 10 times it just means "health food", but it can mean exercise and being healthy too. Because of this, I thought it was just a fad with an English word for it taken and then misused, like so many other Korean fads (ie Fusion Dance Diet), but my father in England tells me "Well Being" is a bit of a fad there too. So it might not just be mindlessly using a word from the dictionary.
