For one of my classes at my Elementary school camp, I've decided to have my students make a Konglish-English dictionary. Unfortunately, I am basically having a brain fart and can't think of any Konglish. Can anyone give me some examples?
All I can think right now are "well-being" and "sharp". |

Yes, something like this. I'm trying to make a list of the common ones I hear from students or on tv but I'm just so beat that I'm coming up blank.
Thanks for the link. "Hip" (meaning behind) is definitely one that I will want my students to understand.... |

| "Well-being" isn't the Konglish expression. It's 웰빙 (Well-Bing). |

I know but the actual word they are trying to use is "well-being." I've seen it used in a korean sentence with the english word "well-being" tossed in for added flavor.
I've never seen a sentence where in English it was spelled "well-bing" but I do understand what you mean.... |

You should probably tell them that "lover" is also a "sex partner", and not the boyfriend or girlfriend they think it is. |

thank you, I shall sort of add that to the list. My kids freak out when they see two people give a quick peek on the lips. I can only imagine the shrieks of horror if I bring up sex  |

Tell them you have a meeting. For us that would usually indicate something platonic and usually business related.
To a Korean it would be a blind date.
