^ honestly, I don't work for the show. Laughing

i just really like it, and i kind of think it is fascinating to guage the response of posters, specifically on Dave's ESL.

the response of most other posters on other non korea based forums is usually one of "i rather not believe it exists" or utter admiration and fascination with the show.

while the ones here, are of a "my world is falling apart" nature.

i am sort of fascinated by the different reactions. purely from a psychological/cultural perspective. i've always wanted to do a PhD in sociology, this would have been a smashing topic.

Okay, it's a chat show that holds as much interest to a guy as Oprah does.

actually guys on other forums seem to be very interested in it.

the show is even translated into chinese on youtube.

if i wrote my thesis on these findings so far, it would not be very eventful research... Embarassed

i think some guys and girls like it because it presents a balance in the world. from a global perspective.

A thesis on the opinios of the Dave's ESLosers. lol. Yep...you'll get a passing grade with that.

How about the "It's a boring show that talks about girls stuff" option?

Guys on other forums probably watch it cause they want to bone some of thise girls. My wife watches it. She likes it. I'm not a chick, that's why I don't watch it.

I don't ge pi$$ed when my wife doesn't want to watch some guy TV with me.

Take off some of their clothes, give them weapons and have some fights or something. Then guys will watch it Smile

I don't hate the show....I hate the OP. Every single thread has his "special" point of view. I would love to see a thread without seeing his name and having to wade through endless PC happy-loving-Korea garbage. Make a poll about that...

You forgot an option - Because one of the things I truly like about Korea is its women, who generally don't have that holier-than-thou (feminist) attitude us male-expats-in-Korea find so... irritating.

Those two Canadian chicks make me cringe. They talk over others to be heard, are too forceful with their opinions and generally think they are the bees' knees. Urgh!

ur pretty retarded if you think korean feminists are pushovers. i find them to be scarier than western feminists. western feminism may have started first, but korean feminism has taken it to new heights. in china, women practically wear the pants.

korean women with college degrees earn 92 cents for every dollar a korean man with a degree earns. in america, it is 70 cents.

I don't watch the show, but I think it's wonderful. I think it is exactly what Korean men needs in terms of getting their heads in the game and to stop being so whiny and bitter.

It's about 98% positive reinforcement, and 2% peepee slaps when the boys start acting up. Perfect for inducing behaviour change.

honestly, don't believe in western perceptions of asian women. they are 100% false, insulting fabrications.

if you are looking for a submissive china doll, it really is retarded. its all part of the manipulation. russian women are also good at it.
