My laptop (IBM Thinkpad X60) is an ultraportable, and it does not include an optical drive. I'm looking to buy an external CD/DVD-ROM for my X60. Preferably, the drive be a portable one with just a USB2 connection. (Heck, I don't even need one with burning capabilities.) I haven't been able to find one yet. I'm currently in the Sinchon area. If anyone can let me know where I can get one, please let me know. Thanks.

The external CD-Rom is gonna make your x60 not so portable. You gotta carry around the drive and the power adapter around with your everywhere.

Its really inconvenient to want to use the Drive and there's no outlet around you to plug it is.

Lenovo has an Ultrabase Docking Station with Optical drive for your laptop. It seems there are some problems with it now and Lenovo has pulled it off its website. Looks like they'll put it back up once they fix all the issues with it.

I was able to find one at Yongsan. (Never been there before Embarassed ). Made by Samsung, it allows me to use without the provided power cable (though it then operates at a lower speed). 너무 비쌌어요 (135,000W)! Sad
