President Roh Moo-hyun will visit Pyongyang on Aug. 28 to have a summit meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, the two governments announced Wednesday morning.
The second-ever summit between the two Koreas was officially announced by Cheong Wa Dae and the North's state-run broadcaster Korean Central News Agency at 10 a.m.
"The two Koreas have agreed to hold a summit in Pyongyang Aug. 28-30. For the summit, Roh will remain in the North Korean capital for three days," Roh's presidential office said in a statement. |
He should stay there for longer... much longer. |

It's not too often blackmailers meet with the blackmailed. |

You must ask yourself this question;
What was given or how much money was given to make this happen?
I recall the last administration paid off the North for the last summit to the tune of $200 million.
This is nothing but a dry desperate attempt to leave a legacy for himself after he leaves office...... |

How do you say, election year? I hope the stinking, make up-wearing, commie-loving, flip-flopping b@stard stays up there with his ideological brethren. |

Election year is what ran through my mind as well..
You have to understand the GNP(the party that are pro-Us and anti-North) who are the old guard are ahead by a long way in the polls....
Maybe Kim jong-Il is a little bit concerned that if GNP win his aid money will stop and evaporate(like in pre Kim dae Jung days) so this might be a way for him to influence the polls and get a bit of public sympathy for Uri and labour Democrats and might be the push the need to bridge the big gap at the moment...
the timing looks very very suss for people that follow korean politics... |

The GNP is no where near as far ahead as those polls show. Their two candidates are going through the mulcher right now... and that's only from their own party. Wait until the lefties let loose their hidden info on Lee. Shit's going to hit the fan.
A few months back, I thought this election was the Right's to lose, now I'm seeing (and hearing) something different. either Lee or Park are going to have a tough go of it. |

You want to share the info about Lee and tell us what you are hearing? |
