I'm trying to add data to http://openstreetmap.org
My Korean driver's license manual shows four different
kinds roads for Korea. (p. 43)
Expressway with a red, white, and blue shield.
National road with a solid blue circle.
Provincial road with a yellow rectangle.
City road with a squished hexagon.
I have a picture of a sign with a squished octagon
instead of a squished hexagon. Should I assume
both are city roads?
Are there other kinds of roads or symbols I need
to consider? |

Think this must be the first driving related thread I've seen on daves.
I'd have thought a driving "sticky" was in order really.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to bump the thread.
I think of the post as more mapping questions than driving questions.
On signs is the squished hexagon the same as the squished octagon?
What about the pentagon with the red bar? What does the red bar mean? |
