Ok . I previously asked if it was possible for people working for public schools to get Korean credit cards . I was told I needed an "alien Id "card . I obtained this and have since been told by the bank that it was in fact not possible for foreigners to get credit cards .
This contradicts what my Korean co teacher told me after calling the bank , as well as members on this board . New law ? Bank specific (I'm with KB) ? go with a Korean next time ?
Anyone have any experience in this dept. ? |

I have one as well took a week to get it
Becarefil using it on buses though.
I keep getting ripped by the bus drivers for other peoples fares or something like that.
Ok for Red buses and subway but local buses have been a bit dodgy |

| You can certainly get a secured credit card. But it means you have to put a down deposit of a few million won, and that will be your limit. |
